CPSecureTextField instantiation busted in 0.7b
Reported by Tim Henrion | March 25th, 2009 @ 02:33 AM | in 0.7
After testing my previously working 0.6-based app in 0.7b, I found that instantiation of CPSecureTextField objects no longer works. The error in both Safari and Firefox is: "Can't find variable: _DOMTextElement".
Reproducing is quite simple: 1) Use 'capp' to fire up a skeleton app. 2) In the resulting AppController.j, replace the CPTextField with a CPSecureTextField, ala:
var label = [[CPSecureTextField alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMakeZero()];
// var label = [[CPTextField alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMakeZero()];
3) Run the app and see the error.
