CPSplitView divider active area problem

With a CPSplitView positioned not at {0, 0} but at {250, 0}, the moveable divider cannot be moved within the right 250px. The mouse pointer becomes the "moving arrows" in the full length of the divider but only the left part is actually dragable. So I presume that the actionable area is not properly positioned 250px to the right as the rest of the view.

Could you provide some sample code please, I'm having a difficult time understanding the problem. Also, are you using top of tree or the downloaded version?
